I traveled to Thailand with my family way back in 2002. I was 14 years old. Up until that point, I had been to England and the USA, only Western countries. Thailand blew my 14 year old mind, and I have wanted to go back ever since. We went to Bangkok, Chang Mai and Phuket. All completely unique and incredible places. Thailand started my love affair with food. I am hoping to go back to Thailand in 2015 and include Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. I cannot wait!
I traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as part of a school tour in my last year of high school, in 2005. We stopped over in the city for one day and night before traveling on to Australia on a touch rugby tour (we got our butts kicked by the Aussies and Kiwi's). We stayed in a really posh hotel (at least it seemed like that at the time) and hung about the fancy mall in the Petronas Towers. I bought these awesome Converse All Stars in a big sale! It was fantastic. Alas, when I arrived in Brisbane, my bag did not. My bag had been stolen in transit. A few years later, my hard drive with all my pictures of the trip, was also stolen. I guess this just means I have to go back! One day!
